Gearing up for Formula Drift Long Beach has always been a journey. Planning travel time and meeting locations can get sort of hectic when you have several individuals involved, but it’s always worth it to come together and hang out with friends and family. Me and my family travelled from Arizona earlier that week, we stayed with family in Southern California. The anticipation of the event had me more giddy than a school girl having her first sleep over. Nevertheless we still had to compose ourselves and start our journey to downtown Long Beach. First stop was at my friends George and Justin’s house. George *Georgeasorous_wfc* owns a 91 240sx and Justin *DJ_jayone* owns the cream 02 AP1 S2000, Jon Jon *Static_e60* has the white 09 E60. Me and Rob *Robthisbaus_wfc* rode in our unclassified spaceship (Secrets) lol. After meeting up and arguing a bit (what we normally do) the testosterone wore off and we started head to Long Beach. That never happens in LA. FDLB 2015 JPEG (38 of 283)FDLB 2015 JPEG (45 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (46 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (50 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (51 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (53 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (55 of 283)After we paid for parking, I called up my long time friend Josh *Grippy_wfc* to meet up with him, his wife Jenna, and our other Justin *Kazuo_wfc* at Rock Bottom Restaurant. So we started to mob through Long Beach having laughs and cracking jokes on each other.FDLB 2015 JPEG (57 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (58 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (59 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (60 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (61 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (62 of 283)Whoa! On our stroll to the restaurant we spotted a couple clean Nissans. The red 180 S13 seemed to be well equipped for street duty, but as soon as I was done drooling over this clean S13 I turned my attention to the white S15 Silvia. This Silvia was mild in appearance but the owner of this car couldn’t hide the massive intercooler, makes one wonder how many ponies this car had trapped under the hood.  FDLB 2015 JPEG (65 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (66 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (67 of 283)FDLB 2015 JPEG (70 of 283)FDLB 2015 JPEG (73 of 283)Lucky for us there was no wait time, Josh had grabbed us a table. This restaurant also brewed its own beer, and if you know anything about WrongFitmentCrew you would know WE LOVE BEER. After everyone greeted each other we sat down and enjoyed great food, beer, and Southern California weather.FDLB 2015 JPEG (75 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (77 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (78 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (80 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (81 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (82 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (83 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (85 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (86 of 283)FDLB 2015 JPEG (87 of 283)FDLB 2015 JPEG (88 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (89 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (90 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (92 of 283)Now that our stomachs had been supplied with burgers and beers we walked back to the cars to start heading in for Offset Kings.FDLB 2015 JPEG (94 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (95 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (96 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (97 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (98 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (99 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (100 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (101 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (102 of 283)Now that we had made our way to the main entrance to OK the excitement started to really build up. Plenty of laughs and more memories to reflect on. Now that Saturday morning is here, first order of business was breakfast and there is no other place around that could beat Roscoe’s. So of course it was everyone’s number 1 choice. My wife Jay has been to Roscoe’s with me several times before but this was my sons first time. Lets just say Roscoe’s did not disappoint Eli.FDLB 2015 JPEG (125 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (126 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (127 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (128 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (129 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (130 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (131 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (132 of 283) FDLB 2015 JPEG (133 of 283)Justin was a bit upset with me because I was talking trash about the San Francisco Giants cap!
